This is an excellent, brand new role for a driven and highly motivated Business Development Manager.

They are redefining architectural and design product discovery and its curation by developing a B2B marketplace, which is driven by cutting-edge technology. This in turn will give Architects and Designers a fluid and innovative way to find and access supplier's products in line with ongoing design projects.
The role will be fully remote, but with regular catch-up and prospect meetings in London.
As Business Development Manager, working closely with the CEO you will take responsibility for creating and executing a sales strategy, targeting growth via focused lead generation that will translate into sales.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a business development capacity. Whilst you're not expected to be a business development guru, you will have the core knowledge, confidence and motivation to independently develop the sales process, working with a team of industry experts and various product stakeholders.
Your daily tasks will include developing identified business opportunities via direct reach out, demo'ing the company's tech/design product and pushing the sales process, researching new leads, contributing to their marketing operations and providing the team with constant, measurable feedback that relates to sales performance.
Ideally you will have:-
* Proven track record in business development, working for a small-medium sized enterprise.
* Previous experience working with a B2B product.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Superb verbal and written English.
* Confidence to run demo's and converse directly with clients and prospects.
Ideally, you will also have (all advantageous) :
* Experience in a design/construction/specification driven sector.
* Startup experience.
* Marketplace / SaaS product experience.
The company's product is constantly evolving by the feedback they receive so you will need to be able to communicate your thoughts and impressions clearly to a multidisciplinary team.
This role includes a big component of solo work, and you will be asked to meet deadlines and frequently report on progress being made.

The advertised salary is a guide which includes a base salary of £33K to £38K and OTE of c£45K.
