CBRE is the world's largest commercial real estate services firm and the company on the Fortune 500. We're looking for a self-motivated and high-energy team member to take on multiple marketing, administrative support, and business development duties for a group of high performing sales professionals in a fast-paced commercial real estate office. This person must have the ability to quickly shift gears and coordinate a multitude of tasks within the downtown Chicago office.
This role requires a business development and administrative professional that can manage, understand, and interpret the multiple functions in high level real estate sales.
This position has room for advancement both in responsibilities and compensation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative and Correspondence
Schedule appointments, keep calendars and meeting room reservations for team of sales professionals.
Ensure Correct Documentation is Drafted and Executed (Listing Agreement, Commission Agreement, Etc.)
Process Invoices & Vouchers for Closings
Data entry in VTS & Leasing Reports
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, etc.)
Produce marketing materials including flyers, floor plans, signage mock-ups and customized packages for each client specific property.
Design Property Marketing Brochures and Keep Updated
Design, order materials and coordinate delivery for upscale broker and client gifting.
Create and Update Property Marketing Contact Lists
Property Email Blasts - Monitor Stats, Contacts, and Schedule
Manage Team's CoStar/LoopNet Accounts
Prepare and Update Case Studies
Acts as point of contact and liaison with the CBRE Property Marketing Studio
Tracks, collates and maintains inventory of marketing materials.
Financial & Business Development
Excel Experience Required
Maintain databases and act as liaison with CBRE Research
Associate's degree or equivalent education and experience required.
3 years experience providing administrative support to multiple people or a team, preferred.
Real Estate industry experience is a plus.
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
Strong communication skills, able to write routine reports and correspondence, effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
Superior customer service skills, responds to common inquiries or complaints from clients, coworkers and/or supervisor.
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
Creative problem solver who can provide several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) internet research and web publishing skills.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, preferred.
Strong marketing knowledge needed.
