My client is an well known national organisation and leader in Irish media, cost-effective, free-to-air multi-media services to the public in Ireland and interested audiences internationally.
We are looking for applications for the position of Commercial Data Analyst in the Commercial team. Reporting to the Advertising Operations Manager, as part of a high-performing team, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the delivery of our ambitious commercial data strategy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising commercial value from existing and new datasets in addition to acting as the commercial lead on a centralised data platform, to help unlock value through data for specific compliant business use cases.
Use existing datasets to develop new commercial product offerings, including new tradable advertising audiences and segments and other commercial opportunities.
You will be responsible for the overall commercial management and maintenance of customer data platform (CDP).
Work with all stakeholders to define the governance of the platform and the data in line with all internal and external codes, legislations, policies and practices.
Maintain and manage all the segments in the CDP.
Work with the commercial teams to research, analyse and deliver fit for market data products.
Embed training, processes and ways of working across the Operations and wider commercial team.
Contribute to and help shape the development of the CDP and strategic commercial data roadmap.
Track and assume accountability for the CDP platform.
Collaborate with cross functional teams including data engineers, analysts and business stakeholders (across Marketing, Commercial and Product teams) to drive projects forward.
Work with the internal teams to design and execute rapid test and learn with an experimentation mindset within the CDP.
Manage the reporting of newly created audience segments and data opportunities.
Support the Ad Operations and wider business as required

The ideal candidate should have:
Relevant 3rd level marketing qualification or equivalent practical experience
Experience using CDPs, DMPs or similar tools, preferably in a media agency or media sales team
Well versed understanding of the current data protection regulations, cookies, GDPR as well as the upcoming privacy changes and implications
Proven experience in programmatic Video, Audio and Display campaign management
Excellent understanding of the programmatic ecosystem including SSP's, DSP's, Ad Exchanges
A keen interest in programmatic and media industry innovation
Experience in media agency or media sales house preferred
Data analysis and visualisation skills desirable
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Best in class customer service skills
Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
