Conveyancing Solicitor - Residential

50/50 split commission on fees

Based in South Manchester (M19) - Hybrid working (office and remote)

Summary:

* Typical fee on a completion sale will range from £600 to £700 + VAT

* You will aim for 5 to 10 completions a month

* Must be available 5 days a week

* 12-month fixed term role

* Be your own boss - You can work this role alongside any other Consultant roles you have

About: A well-respected, award winning, family run law firm in South Manchester with luxurious offices who specialise in Personal Injury, Family Law, Immigration and Employment Law to name a few. Having successfully secured the CQS accreditation (Conveyancing Quality Scheme) for their brand-new Conveyancing department, they are in need of a Conveyancing Solicitor to join the team and offer support for the next 12 months whilst their in-house Conveyancing Solicitor goes on maternity leave.

Role: The successful Conveyancing Solicitor experienced in Residential transactions, including sales, purchases and re-mortgages, will manage their own conveyancing caseload and meet all deadlines. The successful Conveyancing Solicitor experienced in Residential transactions, including sales, purchases and re-mortgages, will grow strong relationships with new and existing customers, and also manage both freehold and leasehold matters including first registrations. The successful Conveyancing Solicitor experienced in Residential transactions, including sales, purchases and re-mortgages, will have to organise and prioritise their own workload and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

* At least 3 years' experience of managing your own conveyancing caseload

* Experienced in Residential transactions including sales, purchases and re-mortgages etc

* Experience of working with conveyancing processes and procedures particularly in Residential Property is essential

* Must show commitment and hunger towards the development of the new department

* Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills

* Must have excellent communication skills
