Data Reconciliation Junior Analyst
Location: Cobalt Business Park, Newcastle
Job introduction
This role is critical to support the day to day functions within the Data Reconciliation team and wider business. This role directly links in when performing their duties, to support MDS in recovery revenue and by validating and reconciling meter asset information.

The role has client facing responsibility and contact with Energy suppliers. Highly professional and resilient individuals will thrive in this area of the business. To be successful in this role you must be able to understand the inner workings of the Technical departments you work alongside and ensure synergy at all times.

Key Responsibilities
• Management of workload to conclude the assigned daily tasks from your Team Manager
• Record, manipulate and produce reports to share with Team Manager
• Reconcile reports and data from various source points within the business
• Daily reporting including analysis and ideas generation
• Able to analyse and problem solve to resolve and close jobs effectively
• Validation of data to ensure accurate and timely reporting to Clients
• Tenacious and strong willed to conclude investigations quickly and within Service Level Agreement
• Daily inbox management in line with Service Level Agreement requirements
• Able to escalate when appropriate
• Prioritising of daily workload to ensure targets achieved
• Use of Hand Held Tablets when required to manually close tasks
The Ideal Candidate:
• Experienced and proficient with using excel and good knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Highly organised and able to prioritise
• Analytical skills and able to see the best way to prioritise.
• Good judgement and able to make good decisions in limited timescales
• Thrives on achieving targets
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Professional and polite manner at all times and good interpersonal skills
• Works well within a team, yet can work to own initiative
• Highly organised and action-focused with ability to meet internal deadlines

• Ability to motivate and encourage others
• Good time management skills
• HTML knowledge would be preferable but not essential
