Job Description

A well established Lloyd's market insurer seeks a Delegated Claims Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

Delivery against the company's Delegated Authority Claims Strategy and, where relevant to the role, the Claims Business Plan
Performance management of claims third parties
Together with other members of the Claims team and the Delegated Authority team, relationship management between the company and third party administrators (TPAs)/coverholders with claims delegated authority
Strategic and commercial governance of TPAs
Embedding company culture and strategy within TPAs
Overseeing claims performance reporting
Overseeing and reporting completion of Lloyd's and Internal Audit actions
Educating the TPAs and Coverholders with Claims Delegated Authority to ensure compliance with Lloyd's Minimum Standards
Identifying opportunities to improve service, reduce claims costs and administration expenses
Experience & Skills required:

Proven technical experience in an operational and/or claims environment
Experience of working in the Lloyd's/London insurance market
An understanding of the role of TPAs and Coverholders with Claims DA
Up to date knowledge of the market, regulatory and claims handling protocols
An understanding of risk and impact of outsourced claims handling services
Excellent negotiation skills
An ability to create and maintain good working relationships internally and externally
Excellent organisational skills
Analytical with attention to detail
