Job Description

Enable Futures are operating as an employment business on behalf of its client and recruiting for an Estimating & Pricing Coordinator based in Cheddar, North Somerset. Joining a fast-paced manufacturer within the construction & building industry. You will be responsible in supporting both the Contracts and Retail divisions, aspects of the role include maintenance of contact registration and quotation processes administration to meet customer needs and win contract business for the organisation.
Having the ability to work positively with Sales Managers to ensure processes are effective and adhered to, and ensuring the teams are working cohesively and "smart". Driving a 'Right 1st time' attitude across all Divisions with-in the Customer Support and External Sales teams, and to promote service excellence across the customer Service Department.
A positive approach is essential whilst working with a strong sense of urgency and a high degree of accuracy. This role requires a proactive and confident individual with lots of initiative and the ability to multi-task. This individual must possess excellent communication skills to ensure strong working relationships with internal and external customers alike.
The working hours are 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday, with a hybrid model - with 2 days remote working and 3 days office working. The annual salary is £21,651 PA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess the potential clients requirements which may include interpreting drawings, specifications and tender documents in order to create an accurate quotation for the customer
* Liaise with customers as appropriate to obtain additional information to enable the provision of a quotation
* Consider alternatives which may produce financial or design advantages
* Preparing quotation documents using various formats including NAV quotes and PowerPoint presentations for the Retail, Specification and Export Market
* Prepare support documentation and claim back documents using Jet reporting and Microsoft Dynamics Nav
* Manage the uploading and presentation of Special price agreements, primarily for the retail market
* Ensure the systems are kept up to date with project registrations, open campaigns and associated quotations to assist other members of the department once an order is secured
* Ensure good house keeping is maintained on all open quotations
* Be aware of external factors that have an impact on our products such as building regulations and legal legislation to ensure that the appropriate products are used in the correct locations
* To continuously improve the estimating service through innovation, lessons learned and best practice knowledge
* Assist in investigations relating to price related invoice queries, drilling down and finding the root-cause to enable the department to ensure measures are put in place to get it 'right 1st time'
Experience, attributes & skills sought:

* Confident and clear communication skills both written and verbal
* Familiarity with computer-based office work & able to work quickly & accurately in word, email, excel, PowerPoint, ERP system (ideally NAV)
* Customer Service Experience
* A good problem-solver, self-starter, with a flexible and adaptable approach to working independently with guidelines
* Excel (intermediate preferred)
* Excellent numeracy skills
* Ability to Negotiate
* Sense of urgency
* Problem-solving and analytical skills
