We are seeking an experienced Control Engineer to join our client's successful team in Windsor, ON. Competitive compensation and performance incentives. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement control systems and solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency for a wide range of manufacturing equipment, including metal-forming, fabrication, finishing processes, and assembly. Design and program control systems, including PLCs and associated automation equipment. Lead integration and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compatibility and performance. Maintain and troubleshoot control systems to minimize downtime and ensure reliability. Provide hands on support for diagnostics and repairs on manufacturing equipment. Standardize control platforms and implement improvements to enhance productivity and system efficiency. Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for process enhancements. Conduct risk assessments to enhance operational safety. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or technologist diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in controls engineering within the automotive manufacturing industry. Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Siemens TIA Portal and Allen Bradley platforms. Hands on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems for diverse manufacturing equipment. Preferred Experience Experience with CNC systems (G code) and systems integration.
