Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer senior and principal
* considerable experience as a Piping Engineer
* Sound knowledge of Clients procedures.
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent knowledge and proven in-depth understanding of Engineering delivery methods, techniques and tools
* Strong ability to mentor and be able to make technically critical decisions as well as support the teams to meet the business needs.
* Knowledge of Thermal and process industries
* Knowledge of internal standards and design codes
Requirements of the Mechanical Engineer senior and principal
* Experience of self-managing planning and scheduling of workload
* Leading a technical team of engineers and draughtsperson
* Reporting progress to line manager and project manager
* Experience as a checker and verifier of technical documents and calculations
* Experience of technical bit evaluation and vendor liaison
* Experience of technical document specification and calculation originating
* Experience of working in a matrix organisation on a global scale
