This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and motivated sustainability engineer/consultant to join our world leading sustainability team. They are looking for someone to help develop and deliver our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) services, with a focus on the holistic environmental impact of materials.
As part of our established team of engineers and consultants, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will design, analyse, report, model and document sustainability projects as well as present to clients with the aim of expanding the sustainability project portfolio. You will work across a variety of projects and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as we support the development of your professional skills.
* Delivering LCA and the quantification of the environmental impact of buildings, across multiple consultancy projects
* Appraisal of building fabric and materials
* Writing technical summary reports and detailed technical reports
* Client consulting; determining expectations and achieving deliverables
* Analysis of large datasets, condensing into robust and digestible outputs
* Supporting both junior level consultants and senior colleagues
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering, architecture, or the built environment, you will show demonstrable knowledge of building materials and embodied carbon. You will possess comprehensive knowledge of the quantification of environmental impacts, EPDs and environmental science. Is it preferable to have experience of the Life Cycle Assessment tool and an appreciation of coding is desirable.
Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential
