SEMH & ASD Science Teacher
Milestone Education are currently recruiting a Science Teacher to work within a specialist day school which provides a unique curriculum to SEMH and ASD students. The school is located in South Leicestershire
The school provide specialised integrated education and therapeutic support for KS2 - KS5 students. The school are able to achieve this by utilising their purpose-built facilities and also by the tight knit team of passionate staff that work there. The young people within the school can demonstrate challenging behaviour as well a spectrum of other needs such as anxiety and attachment disorders and ADHD, however their small class sized of between 8-10 pupils allows them to ensure each student receives individual support as well as full classroom learning. To be considered for this position, you must have the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience of working with challenging behaviour.
- Experience working with children with additional needs.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Driven and enthusiastic personality
