Senior Quantity Surveyor, House builder / Developer , Northampton
A successful and growing House Builder in Bedford are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Site based in Northampton the majority of the time
Their vision is to become a top five house builder within 5 years, and they have already laying strong foundations for growth with the acquisition of new land and investment

The role - Quantity Surveyor
Site based in Northampton, with visits to head office in Solihull no more than once a week.
Working a 7 year housing scheme
·To prepare, submit and agree all Final Accounts in a timely manner that achieves best value for the Company;
· Prepare the submission and agreement of any contractual claims as requested;
·Take timely and proper action (e.g., notices) in accordance with the contract/ sub-contract;
·Submit detailed, accurate and timely interim applications for payment;
·Check that all sub-contractors are procured to the programme and that agreements are robust in order to achieve best value;
·Give support and advice to site teams with contractual matters where possible;
·Ensure in conjunction with the Managing Surveyor, that the risk mitigation strategy is effectively managed.
The right person - Senior Quantity Surveyor
You will ideally have housing experience but this is not essential
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor
Ideally degree qualified
