Job Description

Are you a Site Manager with fit -out experience based within the Manchester area? Are you looking for a new freelance role?

If so, we might just have the opportunity for you.

Contract Scotland are working with a well known and respected building contractor to recruit for a Site Manager to oversee an internal fit out project in the West Manchester area commencing early July and running for up to 14 weeks.

The project itself will involve strip out works, some minor demolition and shell works and a full fit out of a new leisure facility. The successful candidate will be supported by a visiting Contracts Manager and will get a week lead in time so review drawings/programme ahead of the start on site.

Working hours are generally 5 days per week doing 10-12 hours but some weekends may be required to meet the programme completion date on occasion.

So what do you need?
• Our client are ideally looking for candidates based within a commutable distance of the project
• A current, valid SMSTS, CSCS Card & First Aid at Work
• Ideally as Asbestos Awareness certificate (beneficial, not essential)
• Experience managing fit out projects as an on-site lead is essential
• An organised and methodical approach
• Good IT skills
• A strong ethos on H&S management
• A client facing manner
